About
Clear writing. Strong structure. A message that stays with the reader.
I came to journalism through curiosity—asking questions, listening closely, and finding the threads that connect people to stories that matter. Over the past 15 years, I've learned that the best writing happens when you stop trying to impress and start trying to be clear. Based in St. Augustine, Florida, I work with publications, nonprofits, and brands that care about reaching real people with stories worth their time. My background spans education reporting, food writing, and profiles of everyone from Caldecott Medal winners to local changemakers. Whether I'm editing a weekly event calendar, fact-checking a feature, or interviewing an author about their latest book, my goal is the same: to help ideas land with clarity, warmth, and impact. I believe good editing makes writers better, good reporting makes communities stronger, and good stories—the ones that feel true and read clean—stay with you long after you've finished reading.
